CORN FLAKE COOKIES - sent to me from Myrtle in Freeburg, Illinois.

¾ Cup Oleo
1 Cup Sugar
Cream first two items well.
Add 2 beaten Eggs.
To Two Cups sifted Flour add 1 tsp. Baking Powder and ½ tsp.
Salt,
Add to mixture.
Add 1 Cup chopped Dates, 2 Cups whole Pecans, 2 Cups Corn Flakes and
1 tsp. Vanilla.
Mix all together and drop by teaspoons full on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees. 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
